efoxS4,
If you mean square headlights and square rear lights, and big spoke wheels are luxurious then thats your taste. Thats nothing innovative, especially the interior of one..its like they can't get away from the color black. Of course, one would probably say.."Hey black goes with everything".....I rest my case.

While this is undoubtedly a very good sedan, I don't know if I agree with Lexus' tag line that this is now the "Ultimate Global Flagship Sedan"...although I do agree that this will definitely do some damage to Audi sales.

lol yes sixxfive, that tagline is a little ambitious. but look at their all time motto "passionate pursute of perfection" tell me thats not a little abmitious! lol

the rear i must say is a little bmw and weird, but sometimes its hard to tell im person, I love the front however, and thats the most important part.

I have to agree with Will, luxury cars don't look expensive anymore. At least not in pictures. I'm sure the new LS 460 is so much more expensive looking in person, as are all of the other Lexus models.

The only thing I don't like about the new LS is the rear and the interior. The rear lights are the main reason for my dislike of the rear. I think aesthetically, they take up to much space and make the rear look fatter than it really is. The interior is well-made, no doubt, but I was expecting an evolutionary design. Instead, it looks like a slight modification of the old LS interior. I guess these are design aspects that I just am not a fan off.

Overall though, it's a nice car. Definitely up there with the A8, S-Class and XJ in terms of design.

My God that's an awesome car. When the original LS400 came out, Lexus made Bimmer and Benz wake up. They answered the call with some pretty amazing vehicles over the past 10 years. All you German car lovers should thank Lexus for that. Some people have bad memories-6 cylinder BMW flagship sedans and yuppie-mobile 3 series from the '80's. Over-priced Benzes that kept the same bodies for a decade. They had to step up to the challenge of the Japanese luxury crs, and they did. But boy how Lexus has roared back this year. The IS, GS, and now this. (Even the new ES is hot, if you're of a particular demographic).

There will always be haters, but with a car like this, who cares.

Lexus may have finally achieved the perfection they have beesn so relentlessly and passionately pursuing. It's a masterpiece.
