Red Flags Abound At GM - But Does Anyone Else Notice The Problems?
General Motors scored an historic coup recently when it topped Toyota, Honda, and all other automakers in the J.D. Power & Associates Initial Quality Study for the first time in the 27-year history of the survey. With GMC the second-ranked brand and Chevrolet fifth, it was a rare burst of good news for the General where little things often point to larger issues that can fester into big problems. At any other auto company, minor incidents would pass without notice, but this is GM.

Recently we posed a few big questions for the automaker's management. But now a new wave of developments are raising another round of red flags.

Yawn. replace the G with the O. That's even richer than replacing "General" with "Government." You guys lost. In 2008 and then again in 2012. Deal with it already.

I have to wonder why it is that Auto Spies – when their stories refer to GM, at any rate – seem to always try to make up our minds about things for us, as opposed to giving us the information, and letting us come to our own conclusions.

For instance, the combining of the GM logo with the symbol for the Obama Administration is just lazy and makes me think that I already know the position Auto Spies is taking without reading the story.

Now, the story may not have anything to do with your spin on it, but I think I understand what was written because you guys can’t seem to link to a story without putting some sort of spin on it.

What Obama administration? Look around, its the 4th term of Bush in nearly any policy you want to review. Dont blame an administration, blame the machine called government that chews up every president and spits them back out on the way to keeping America "on track". Oh, by the way, how's Ford coming in paying back their Billions?
