i was just reminding everyone that these are not pictures of real cars / remember the R8 will be at Paris Sept 30th

Like I have said before, most of those aren't the best photoshops, the A7 is the best one, the A5 is also good. The others are pretty bad photoshops.

Will - you can comment all your want just remember they are not the real cars. Yes the A8 wagon will never make it to the US market

I don't think the A8 wagon will ever make it anywhere, maybe in the next generation. Audi made the Avantasimmo concept (the Dodge Magnum looks sort of like it) back in 2003, and there is still no A8 wagon. Even in Europe it wouldn't get a big amount of sales probably and making a whole new variation would cost money especially as it wasn't designed with a wagon in mind. Maybe in the next generation but no in the current one.

no manufacturer makes a full-size wagon.
no s class estate, no 7 series touring.
it's what suv's are for.

i don't expect the A8 wagon also but if it does come out you will not see an A8 wagon in the USA

I wouldn't buy one for the reasons mentioned above, but I think the A8 wagon is one of the nicest looking designs shown. It harks back to what I think was one of the best looking Audi series ever - the 1984-91 5000/100 Avant wagon, that had the unfortunate distinction of being subject to idiot drivers who stepped on the wrong pedal.

I had one of those, an 89 Avant, and it was the one of the most space efficient and beautifully designed cars ever. Audi should resurrect that design theme and get rid of the current anteater nose.

It's too bad that such good cars look so bland.

apparently the a7 will have 4 dorr coupe, 2 door coupe and 2 door convertible to rival the cls and the cl (or 6 series or eqiv.)
