Now although I can't say that I am the BIGGEST Acura fan at the moment, there is still one product the brand has in the pipeline that is keeping me interested. That would be the NSX.

Boasting the brand's most famous three letter, it's a big deal.

And though there's a bit of apprehension, particularly since it's been rumored that the marque will be debuting it as a hybrid, these VERY short teaser MAY put you at ease. That's because for the very first time we're hearing how this vehicle sounds.

To my ears it's clear it will be powered by a six-cylinder of some kind and if the hybrid rumors are true it will be likely aided with electric motors.

What say you, Spies? Are these teaser clips a GOOD sign?

Watch the 14:58 video, which has the car from all angles. That front end doesn't work for me at all, beak included. Don't care for the rear end, either. But nice looking profile. Hideous, warped-looking wheels!

now i know why audi build the R8. 2nd tier luxury car-makers need their "halo" cars to make themselves sleep better at night.

but honestly you gotta give it to them acura engineers. at least they didn't have to share platforms to make a halo car. unlike those dimwits working for audi. no wonder audi had to let go of their head of research and development.

Totally understand what you mean. Like the currently bentley continental platform is based on the VW phaeton platform.
Now another story precntly about the new A7 to be based on the Bentley, to try and raise the status, however hard they try it is still VW based ..

I felt like this car should have been available for about 4 years now. Its already old to me.
