SPIED On The Street: BMW's All-New 4-Series Captured In Alpine White With The M-Sport Kit — Would YOU Have This Over BLACK?
Since the launch of the all-new BMW 4-Series, we've been keeping a close eye on all of the latest sightings. That's because with every new peek we catch something a bit different.

Though I am sure there will be naysayers stating "Why another 4-Series post?" it's very clear that this car really POPS in certain specifications. Obviously it looks best sporting the M kit — most BMWs do — but I have to say it looks mighty tasty in the non-metallic, Alpine White.

Note how the front valence looks THAT much more aggressive and the line down the side profile gives the rear fenders a pretty muscular look.

I am not sure about you all but while I was not so impressed with the all-new BMW 4-Series at first glance, I have to say I am starting to come around after seeing this 4'er in white.

Though I am not totally sold on the "face," I have to admit I am digging the vehicle's hind quarters. This totally gets me juiced up for the upcoming M4 set to debut at Monterey Weekend.

The M Sport makes the car. Luxury Line front end looks decent, don't like the Sport Line. But the M Sport... now THAT looks awesome.

Poor BMWs, they've taken the Audi route and now all their cars look alike...

Take a look at a 7 series, 3 series, and 1 series...they couldn't be more different.

When you look at ANY car maker, whether it's domestic or foreign you can see pretty much the SAME car in ALL models. Acura vehicles look alike; Audi very similar; BMW has the same theme in their models; Look at Cadillac's edgy theme in all their cars/SUVs; MB has the same look; Toyota has the same look now. They all do it. Very subtle differences in the looks of all models. It makes it easier for parts usage.

It's not even so much for parts usage as it is for having a focused design theme and brand recognition. Most people don't actually know a 3-series from a 5-series from a 6 or 7 series. Or an Audi A4 from A6 from A8 etc. Or any other manufacturer. They really don't. The average person knows next to nothing about different cars. They just know a BMW or an Audi when they see one (sometimes...). So for the manufacturers it's more about all of their cars looking like a "new BMW" or a "new Audi" or "new Lexus." Otherwise it's hard to build and maintain brand recognition among the average, ignorant consumer.
