SPIED + VIDEO: Lexus' RS5, M4 And C63 AMG Competition Hits The Track

In a very peculiar spectacle, it's very clear that Lexus' "F" division isn't playing around with the development of a proper vehicle to match up with the likes of Audi's  RS5, BMW's M4 and Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG coupe. Though it's pretty common to see a manufacturer develop a standard product then dial it up, it seems that Lexus could be working backwards.

Either that or this is planned to be a dedicated, hardcore performer. Note: we have NOT seen any other spy pics depicting an IS-like coupe aside from the quad-tipped, cross-spoke sporting speculated RC-F.

Though we're sure there's plenty of speculation pointing to this Lexus producing somewhere in the neighborhood of 450 horsepower, we're going to hang back until we hear something from a credible source.

What we DO know is that the RC-F's soundtrack is one seriously brutal sounding V8. Check it out for yourself below...


Lexus is stepping up their game and is testing a coupe version of the IS-F, called the RC-F. Where the M3 has ditched its V8, the IS-F/RC-F still has a V8. This will be an interesting battle!

It sound great but they can definitely make it sound way better than that but it's a prototype so I have to wait for the production model to make my judgement.

And I'm hoping it's lighter than the current Lexus IS-F as well and has more power like 450+ hp and 400+ lbs. ft of torque would be nice. I can't wait to see the production model and comparison test against the BMW M3, Audi RS5 and MB C63 AMG.
