SKETCHED OUT: Mercedes-Benz Happily Shows Off The Upcoming GLA, If It Looks THIS Good The Competition May Have To Start Over
The party continues to heat up. The entry-level luxury sport-utility vehicle class is getting crowded. Almost too crowded. Mercedes-Benz is about to enter the fray with its all-new GLA-Class SUV.

Previewed earlier this year, the Concept GLA definitely was giving us an early preview of the all-new production vehicle. Though Mercedes tried to downplay how much it would look like the real McCoy, it seems that the latest sketches the German automaker's U.S.-based offices shared on its Facebook page look strikingly similar.

Of course sketches are a bit exaggerated but just compare the images of the Concept GLA to our cover image below and judge for yourself.

The new #‎GLA is coming. To tease you just a bit until then, enjoy these exclusive #‎design sketches!

What is with Mercedes with their stupid exhaust pipes? The E-Class looks like bucked teeth sticking out. Now this atrocity. Calm down, MB! You're trying way too hard.

The beauty is in the eyes of the beholder...For me it looks great and uncommon , they are thinking out of the box. I am tired of rounded exhaust pipes.

I personally would prefer the rear seat to be a bench, with split fold down backs. With 2 and soon 3 grandkids, I need space for 3 across.

Other than that, I like what I see in general, except for the pop up screen. I prefer the screen integrated in the dash. These look like an afterthought, although I'll have to see it for real. Sometimes pictures just don't show them accurately. The rear storage area appears larger than my Tiguan, which is a little small. If they offer it in the US with a diesel, it will be on my consideration list.

Fantastic.

Design elements seem to suggest this is a distant concept, though.

And, like the fellow suggestd before me, a four seater would never sell in the real world.

The car looks fantastic. The grille does need to be changed though. That part just looks a little off to me.

In totally into the fron 1/4 view. The tail lights and exhaust, however, look like they came from a cheaper brand.
