MONTEREY WEEKEND: 001 DETAILS The Cadillac Elmiraj's EXTERIOR — REAL-LIFE Shots

One of the concept cars stealing the show at the 2013 Pebble Beach Concours D'Elegance was from, surprisingly, an American automaker — Cadillac. Dubbed the Elmiraj, the big-body two-door coupe is a throwback to what the brand does well.

Looking at the exterior design of the all-new Elmiraj, it has hints of the well received Ciel convertible; however, it seems to have a bit more of a sporting character as hinted at by the large diameter wheels, matrix style front grille and that "V" on its butt.

It's hard to hate on a 500 horsepower V8 but I will ask this: so, when will we see some action, Cadillac? First the Ciel, now this? How much longer will you hold out on us for?

Yes they should as this is a beautiful car. Don't skimp though and try to be the low cost luxury brand. Do what it takes to make it perfect down to every switch and trim piece and then charge a fair price. Also it does not have to compete with M6s, SLSs or Ferrari's, it should stand on it's own as a good handling beautiful GT.
