what the? Didnt lexus just introduce the revamped Lexus Rx350 this year or within the last year? dont they already have a hybrid 450h? I am actually surprised that they are thinking of changing the body style on one of their best selling models to such a drastic style. Apparently they didnt get the memo about that 70% of the people that buy their vehicle are women and that if you keep it simple, then more buyers will come...

The current body style was out in 2004, and by 2009 it should be due to change...

Agree with PlanoA4- too many of those 'Taxis' around this area(Dallas). But also refreshing to see sensible Bimmers around too!

It's just a rebadged Toyota anyway.
Woah, it DOES feel good to say that.

Compete with the X5??? I never even thought of the two in the same ballpark. That was a weird comparison...To me it seems more of an X3 competitor than an X5 one, but maybe that's just me.

I think it comptes more with the "ML", I think the X5 is way ahead of both of them...just my own opinion...

I think if they want to have a Lexus RX460 then they should just get rid of the GX450... and re-do the outdated LX soon! I just can't wait to see the new SC430!

The RX is a best seller. Lexus sold almost 100K of them in the US last year. With women being approx. 3 out of 4 buyers, its the ultimate chick SUV, and I think Lexus should keep it that way.. However, If they start messing around with radical redesigns, V8 engines etc.., I think sales will suffer. They should keep the car as plain, simple and easy to drive as it currently is.
