Would You EVER Consider Pulling A Trailer With Your Sports Car?

When it comes to towing caravans, boats or even other vehicles, Porsche offers a few options. First and foremost, one could purchase the Porsche Cayenne or even the Porsche Panamera and soon, the Porsche Macan SUV to tow extra supplies and facilities for a holiday.

Hell yeah! All-wheel drive, all that power and torque which is probably more than 90% of SUVs out there, why not?!?

I've got a powerful, durable engine, (that's sometimes used in trucks,) a transmission used on cars making over 650 ft/lbs of torque, and a solid rear differential. Why not pull a trailer with it?

That being said - I wouldn't. I have a cheap beater of a truck for pulling stuff.

The only downside is the weight ratio, one of the rare advantages of the pig iron smelted into more typical choices.
