Court Tells French Government To Lift Sales Ban On Mercedes-Benz Vehicles

France's top administrative court on Tuesday overruled a contentious government decision to ban the sale of some Mercedes models on the grounds that they posed a threat to the environment.

The Council of the State said registrations of certain A, B and CLA-class models, frozen since June, should be resumed in two days.

"It does not appear that if these cars are put on the road in France...they will pose a serious threat to the environment," the ruling said, ordering the government to pay Mercedes €3 000 in damages..

-Benz signals to move in express lane and floor it-, the case was ridiculous to begin with, France was only hurting their economy and Mercedes should have updated the coolant fluid for their compact cars

...if the French are socialists, then WHY ARE THEY BUYING LUXURY CARS?

Isn't socialism about spreading the wealth? Not treating yourself to fancy things others can't afford?
