SPIED: REVEALING Shots Of The All-New BMW i8's INTERIOR Snapped

If you just saw the last story, you would have caught Harry Metcalfe zooming around a "secret" French track in the all-new BMW i8. One thing's certain: the i8 will be a landmark vehicle for the Bavarians.

And though Agent 001 recently informed us that the all-new vehicle's exterior bears striking resemblance to the concept, one aspect that hasn't crystalized is the interior. And as I consider myself an interior snob, you better believe I think this is the "missing link."

001 told us it was essentially a mash up of the BMW 6-Series and the original 8-Series. I kinda see what he meant when looking at the center stack.

What other little DETAILS do you spot?

I spy:

- Paddle shifters
- iPad-like infotainment display a la the 3-Series, 4-Series, all-new X5, 6-Series, etc.

Was hoping to see BMW deviate from their standard interior design for the i series.

Agree, that this looks too straightforward. With the i3 and I8, they had the chance to break ground and not have to incorporate legacy into the design. Looks instead like the next x.xx revision of everything else in their line. I guess their board deemed that as safe but not ambitious bet.
