With the ink barely dry on our review of the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Coupe, GM President Mark Reuss swung by the L.A. Times office in a gleaming new Cyber Gray Metallic Stingray Convertible.

On his mind were consumers’ changing buying habits, the strength of the auto market in the coming years and GM’s plans for diesel and hybrid powertrains in its vehicles.

Hybrid, Diesel, Electric, Gas... doesn't matter as long as the focus is performance. When you get into cars like that, it should be how well can you make them perform, it really shouldn't matter the power plant that's used.

Unless they are going to stick a super-charged V6 with a Kers system in the Vette, GM should develop a Hybrid-V6 powerplant for the Camaro.
