While the Z07 nameplate is new, the car will essentially be a successor to the already might Chevrolet Corvette Z06.

Powering the 2016 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Z07 is predicted to be either a single turbo or twin-turbocharged V8 engine most likely based on the 6.2-liter powertrain of the base Corvette Stingray C7. There's a guy at work who claims to be saving up for a Camaro ZL1. Currently drives an Accord and his driving resume starts and ends with the receipt of his state driver's license. Two outcomes:

A) He drives it just like his Accord, which is a waste.

B) His talent runs out at half throttle and he wraps it around a tree.

I'm not opposed to these cars but for so, so many it is just a status symbol they won't or can't drive properly.
