Is Lexus Testing A 2015 GS-F Right Under The Noses Of The Germans?

Is Lexus plotting a BMW M5 and Mercedes E63 AMG-fighting F version of the new GS Series, is the question we asked early last month when our spies caught a quick glimpse of a tester featuring the sport sub-brands' signature stacked tailpipes. We think so and these fresh photos from the Nürburgring of the same prototype provide further proof that Lexus has a hot performance under its sleeves.

Lexus? An M5 fighter? Good luck with that.

Lexus makes great cars, but I don't believe they persuade many BMW drivers to switch. Especially M fans.

I have no doubt Lexus would love to add a GS-F sedan/saloon to their roster. One only has to remember that when the original GS300 made it to American shores, its twin-turbo charged, AWD, 300 hp sibling was left behind in Japan.
