Toyota hikes 2013 U.S. volume target after August sales surge

Toyota has revised upward its full year sales target for the Toyota and Scion brands in the United States by around 50,000 units to around 2 million vehicles. This came as Toyota Motor Sales U.S.A. posted a 23-percent surge in combined sales of the Toyota, Lexus and Scion

Very exciting read, thank you. To know that someone adjusted their predictions based on more recent data can only be compared to that moment in Expendables 2 where Van Damme kicks a knife into Liam Hemsworth and you're like "oh man that was pretty sweet."

I remember last year, there was nothing but doom and gloom around here. Everybody was saying the US market wouldn't get to 15 million units. Were on pace to hit 15.5 (ish).
