FRANKFURT MOTOR SHOW: Is Startech's Land Rover Defender 90 Series 3.1 The ULTIMATE Off-Roading Machine?
A lot of the world's roughest and toughest off-roaders claim that the Land Rover Defender is the best of them all. Though many associate Land Rovers with unreliability, there's a reason why Defenders are prevalent through some of the globe's most rigorous climates.
At the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show though Startech — a tuner owned by Brabus — brought forward its take on the ancient Defender. There's one catch though: it wasn't ancient at all. That's because Startech made sure to modify just about everything to bring it up to modern spec.
In fact, it may be a bit tough to call this a proper off-roader given the leather, hardwood floors and Alcantara headliner.
That said, Agent 001 was on the scene and snapped a ton of photos, featured below.
Take a look at Startech's take on the Defender below and let us know:
is THIS the ultimate off-roading machine?

Honestly, I'd prefer an unmodified one without all that awful copper-colored leather.

Yeah, I agree, I could certainly live without the copper color leather and interior. I'm talking as a vehicle, I'd love one.
