FRANKFURT MOTOR SHOW: AWESOME or AWFUL? Brabus Ups The Crazy 6X6 G63 AMG And May Be Crossing The Line

FRANKFURT MOTOR SHOW: AWESOME or AWFUL? Brabus Ups The Crazy 6X6 G63 AMG And May Be Crossing The Line
Once and a while an automaker does something very out of the ordinary. Nissan did the Murano Cross Cabriolet, BMW did the X6M and now Mercedes-Benz is actually producing the G63 AMG 6X6.

That's right, it's real and you can buy one if your checkbook is big enough.

Of course Brabus doing what Brabus does best — make already ridiculous Mercedes products MORE extreme — it decided to make the 6X6 even more absurd.

Now it pumps out 690 horsepower and 708 lb.-ft. of torque. Though that's a HUGE figure, you have to keep in mind that this vehicle is also...HUGE. Weighing in at around 8,000 pounds, zero to 60 can happen in just about seven and a half seconds.

We're not quite sure who'd ever want one but we have two ideas: Middle Eastern dune hoppers or some of the NBA's best. Recently J.R. Smith picked up a military-spec vehicle and if I am not mistaken, Dwight Howard also has a similar product in his collection.

The existence of this vehicle proves once and for all, that Americans can not hold a candle to the douchiest Europeans.

This is, in all likely hood, a $300,000+ work truck that you would not dare enter without taking the shoes you had on when you walked to the car.

I only hope someone actually buys this instead of Brabus making a one of just to say they can do it.

Are there any millionaires who pine for the days when they used to play with Tonka toys?

I'm a fan, the G will already go down as one of the most iconic vehicles in production and Brabus just payed homage by creating the G in its most EXTREME form...i love it
