FRANKFURT MOTOR SHOW: So, How Does The Mercedes-Benz GLA Look In REAL LIFE? Better Than The X1 And Q3?
One of the big debuts at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show came from Mercedes-Benz. While the all-new S-Class Coupe concept was gaining plenty of attention, the all-new GLA-Class made its world premiere.

Considering this is slated to be an entry-level vehicle to attract a younger demographic into Mercedes' suite of products, it is critical that it can stand up to the likes of the Audi Q3 and BMW X1. From the looks of it, I think it certainly is the looker of the gaggle of entry-level luxury sport-utility vehicle players.

I mean, check out that interior! That matte wood looks fantastic, though if we're honest, we're a bit let down by the square infotainment display — we love BMW's approach with the wide-screen format, once you have it you won't want to go back. Optioned with the brown exterior and two-tone brown interior, the all-new GLA looks incredibly sharp.

What say you, Spies? How does the all-new Mercedes-Benz GLA-Class look to you? Is it a WINNER or a LOSER?

Looks cool.

The other selling point is that unlike Audi and BMW who use a clear numbering system making it obvious which is there entry level model, Mercedes uses a nearly unintelligible alpha-numeric naming convention which no one understands, so someone might actually think this new thing in your driveway is a luxo model for 70K.

Good Point, and the GLA will most certainly be a winner

I think it looks good but the problem I have with the GLA and the 1-series is that they both look like propped-up hatchbacks.

The more successful design is the Q3 which looks more like a SUV and less like a wagon / hatchback. Only downside with the Audi, as with most Audis, is that it looks almost exactly the same as all other Audis but that is more of a problem for people who can afford a Q5 and Q7 than for the buyer of a Q3.

Just like the new A-class and CLA, this is definitely going to sell well.
