STUD OR DUD? Japanese Magazine Claims This Is the Production Version Of The Lexus RC F
It is no secret that Lexus is currently hard at work developing a BMW M4 fighter. We’ve seen clear spy shots of such a car testing in prototype form at the Nurburgring and other European locales, but today it appears that a few images of the production car have leaked online. A Japanese car magazine has managed to snag some scanned images of the hot new coupe that will reportedly be called the RC F. Due to the camouflage on the test mule, we weren’t able to see the car’s finer styling details.

At the price they are talking about I certainly hope not. If it is then Lexus has jumped the shark.

The M4 will probably cost around $65k is my guess. The RC-F... I have heard over $100k which would be pretty crazy but maybe that's in Australia (seriously wondering about where that number first came from). Anyway if this thing is around $60k then it's a winner. Otherwise it's competing with the M6 rather than M4, which is a whole other target.

exactly. it will come in solidly UNDER whatever BMW charges for a comparable model. that has been the lexus strategy since 1989.

Sorry man, its the other way around. BMW is now pricing their cars just below what Lexus would. Check out the list prices of a 335i as compared to an IS350. The rules of the game have changed.

Another stunningly hideous Lexus... Japanese cars for the most part, are homely but this and that SUV a few daze ago, breathtakingly hideous!

I think it looks pretty great, except I am not loving the LED DRLs that are like the IS and could have been better integrated into the headlights IMO.

Whether 100k or 60k, I sure hope this isn't the real deal. Just way too much going on, even for a high performance car.

The best part about driving this Lexus is you don't have to look at from the outside.
