STUD OR DUD? Cadillac Provides A Sneek Peek At 2015 Cadillac Interior
General Motors Co. on Tuesday gave Cadillac fans a sneak peek at the interior of its new 2015 Cadillac Escalade, which it will reveal next week in New York City.

GM and Cadillac said the new Escalade SUV will be more luxurious and features an all-new, bold and modern interior full of advanced technology. The automaker said the design includes handcrafted elements and “precisely elegant surfacing of the instrument panel and door areas.”

The Escalade, which can seat up to eight, also has a new interior that differs from GM’s other large SUVs, which also have been redesigned for the 2015 model year.

Might have to do with the lens they used, but in all honesty the GM SUVs always had MASSIVELY wide center consoles...

Inline with the current interior design language from the ATS and CTS (nothing new from Cadillac but still good looking).

Nice. Lincoln should learn a thing or two from Cadillac these days.

Not a big fan of the wood trim. Presumably brushed metal or carbon fiber will be available options. In other regards, looks good. Oh also I don't like those AC vents; always been a fan of the 360-degree ones like the current Wrangler has. Hmm and then on closer inspection where is the gear shift? Is it that giant lever protruding from the steering column? Man I haven't seen something that massive since I drove a Cheyenne. Overall I'm not too pleased. I mean the lighting is all sexy and I wish I had a garage with those doors (and the annual income that's implied) but honestly this interior has little in the way of actually "good" things that I can see.

Yeah, it's not a great showing, frankly.

Maybe next week's launch will provide some better color.

Unfortunately, for a luxo SUV, this just doesn't compare to the interiors of the modern Land Rover products. This just looks like a very nice, mainstream interior that could almost be in any SUV.

If I were to gain interest in a $60-$70k SUV, based on interior alone, I would bypass this offering.

Agreed. And Land Rover's products are MOVING out the door VERY quickly, even at their premium price.

Very nice. It carries the beautiful lines typical of Cadillac, which are distinctive and stylish, though what I really want to see is the exterior, and how it differs from its GMC and Chevy variants.
