No 2007 model for Porsche's Cayenne?

No 2007 model for Porsche's Cayenne?
Due to slow sales, Porsche will not release a 2007 Cayenne model.

Instead, dealers will continue to deplete 2006 inventory until the 2008 re-freshed model arrives...

Porsche doesn't have a new product lifecycle for the Cayenne until MY 2010 (!!!) so other brands (Audi, Infiniti, Merc, BMW, etc) will continue to bite into sales. Refresh in 2008, yes, but nothing new until 2010. I wouldn't want to be the Cayenne marketing director right now...

It will do just fine.
HP will be increased all over the board with even 500hp for the Turbo and 550 for the Turbo S.
Still the best SUV out there.
The reliability is much, much better than back in 2004 BTW.

i'd pick a touareg over this anyday.
the touareg doesn't look like it ran into a brick wall...
and i like the interior.

vw is viewed differently in the uk though, touareg is a premium car, vw is half-premium.
it's one of the reasosn the q7 had to be bigger, so the touareg didn't step on its toes.

When the last of the Jaguar XKE's were new, they sat on the dealers' lots. When the Land Rover Defender was new, it too was not quick to move. Check examples of these vehicles now.

The 2006 Cayenne is an excellent car, with the bugs worked out. It looks beautiful, and drives incredibly. Most people who hate it have never sat behind the wheel. Some people cannot swallow the concept of a Porsche SUV because they cannot think outside the box. The 911 is certainly a classic, but the Cayenne SUV represents the Porsche of the current times, because this is the decade of the SUV.

Well Said !!!
How people can call a vehicle as great as the cayenne trash is beyond me.
All new vehicle lineups will have bugs initially, but once they are worked out (and they usually are) then you more often than not end up with a very good vehicle, perfect example is the 7_series, when it was launched it was plagued by electrical bugs but can any one of you guys call the 7 a pos ??

racer, not saying a cayenne is a bad car, it is an amazing car, but beautiful it isn't.
and i'd rather have a "real" porsche and an ordinary suv, rather than combining the two so it does neither as well as it should.

A Porsche Cayenne Turbo can lap a race-track as quick as an Evo 8.

Can a tank do that?
