Caught testing in Germany, this white prototype looks similar to the test hacks originally spied in Finnish cold-weather testing late last year. But under the skin, this machine features a more performance-focused package.

The TT RS will have a turbocharged 2.5 liter inline 5 cylinder with 350 hp.

No, a 2.5 liter inline 5 cylinder with cylinder heads from the S8 with a turbocharger good for 350 hp. It will be a monster.

Me want!

Will, the only facts I can see, to get this over the Cayman is Quattro, S-Tronic (DSG), and the fact that it's an audi :)

Also, the Cayman S usually sells for 70k (you can get an RS4 for that price) The TT RS should be in the fiftys.

but Cayman S is much better handling than the RS4...

Current 2.0L Turbo when used in the New S3 will produce 270Hp so an Educated guess would place 2.5L-3.2L Bracket for 350Hp target.

A much better improvement over the current model.

nice looking car-bit bland though when compared with bmw's z4 m. i would rather have the bmw (probably a better driving experience)-the side profile of the z4 m coupe looks great- the tt looks awkward from the side. the front of the tt looks way better than the bmw's front though. i was more excited when i heard of the z4 m than i am right now.

and the cayman...clarkeson calls it the coxster or the gayman-essentially a poor-man's 911 or "a boxter with a roof." the cayman's voluptuous rear end is just wrong...

the cayman is gay, audi rules, and the M coupe is cool too

Not sure why the RS4 is being compared to the M5. Is it because it completely destroyed the M3 so you guys would like it to take on more? It may blow away the M5 on a track, but both cars really shouldn't be compared because they represent different classes. Its like a middleweight boxer being compared to a heavy weight boxer because he knocked out everyone in his class. You should wait for the RS6 if you want something to compare to the M5

If history is any guide, the new RS6 will have at least 550HP, and eat up the M5 like a hungry shark feasting on Salmon!!

The Roadjet prototype has a 3.2 L that produces 300 hp. This uses next-generation FSI technology and not turbos. There doesn't seem to be any indication that Audi will produce a twin-turbo engine any time soon. I am wrong on this?
