AWESOME or AWFUL: Honda Shows Off The Acura NSX GT Racer BUT Is It Just Vaporware?
Though I just finished giving applause to Chrysler Group and its advertising, it is not the only automaker putting out some properly amazing adverts. Honda also has had its wins.

My personal favorite is "The Cog." How can you NOT love a Rube Goldberg machine?

The latest from Honda features a GT racing-spec Acura NSX but it's not out on the track racing around showing us how it can perform. Instead it appears to be jacked up and using its power to generate energy. I'll let you see the rest.

It's been interesting to see reactions as some folks are just frustrated with the lead time this vehicle has taken to get to market; however, there are still tons of Acura/Honda loyalists giving the big "H" a nice thumbs up.

That said, where do YOU lie? Is Honda's latest advertisement AWESOME or AWFUL?

Nice bit of computer-generated imagery. Don't know how it relates to a real car. Audio soundtrack is borrowed heavily from that Audi promo featuring the development of the V12 Le Mans cars, with the engine on a stand, all instrumented-up, and going through power/decelleration cycles.

It's neither awesome nor awful, just a bit silly and irrelevant. Maybe that's apt for the car. Says, "Honda fever, for your family."
