What's bad for Japan is good for Ford.
This process is why Russian, N. Korean, Iranian, Syrian and Chinese cars do not sell well here in the U.S.

It's a temporary blip at best. I have lived and worked in Asia for 10 years and Asians, for the most part, still believe Japanese products are better made than US made products. They enjoy American iconic things like movies and Coke, McDonald, Nike but when it comes to goods, they still prefer German and Japanese. Hate to say it but that's the way it is over there.

Honda is in the midst of a style, design, and engineering implosion so it's not mystery that the AMC of Japan is suffering. Toyota is 50 shades of bland and boring. The Chinese as emerging consumers will want Toyota quality plus style and that would be FORD!

Ford is taking advantage of the current dispute between the Chinese and Japanese...remember the protest that took place at Honda, Nissan ,and Toyota dealerships in China last yr...way to go Ford!
