Sure it is a good looking convertible with great features and a great price. Some of the best designed cars have "feminine" design lines.

Why, it offers the best car/value in its class. It only has 2 true competitors and you can easily make an argument that the Eos is the best one.

They aren't, the A5 will be built on a completely different platform. It is also to bad that the VW Golf has been rated as better than the BMW 1 series on numerous occasions.

It's too cheap for a convertible hard-top. Not to mention Volkswagens horrible reliability ratings.

The Z06 is to cheap to be a sports car? Most 2.0 TFSI Eos will sell for 35k. The demand is already very high.

Wow....the claws and the VW bashing came out instantly for the EOS......thats a good sign...I had the chance to drive and disect the car in person the other day, what a nice all around build...as for reliability, the 2.0 FSI has won numerous awards here and abroad...OK bashers start picking on the roof next...or better yet drive your ego inflating machine down to your local VW dealer and test-drive the EOS...if it's not beneath you!!

This is a really nice looking car in person. Actually looks better than in the photographs. Our local dealer had a dark blue and a silver one on hand to try out. The interior finish is immpecable and the sunroof is a cool feature, makes you feel like you have a regular coupe for those months and says they top down motoring is not an option. I think these types of designs (hard top convertibles) are the way to go in the future of convertibles. Sure everyone may not like it, but for day to day living, this makes a lot of sense and this VW is a really nice offering!

i like this car, the sunroof is an added bonus.
its got the right badge, good (from some angles) looks, nice interior, good drive.
and of course the fact that you can have it with the r32 engine helps.
this will sell very well in the uk, we buy more convertibles than any other european country.
it's got more competition here though, the astra twintop is a close rival, as is the volvo c70, and the megane and 307 cc.

Wha'ts interesting is the color of my car. My Saab 9-3 (2004) is mocha brown/black. Oviously, black cars with a brown tint weren't popular with Saab. Only a few were made and it was quickly discontinued.

The C pillar and roof line are just...odd. I saw one already in downtown Seattle, and I cant say that I was impressed. It definitely looks better with the top down.
