WHICH Auto Manufacturers, Brands And Vehicle Models Do YOU HATE MOST Right Now?
As a person who has owned over 70 cars in the last 30 years I've learned a few things. That everything goes in cycles.

Just because i USED to be A Mercedes guy, didn't mean I would be one for life.

I have had a love hate relationship with just about EVERY car manufacturer I've been involved with.

And throughout the years, every dog has his day and you can be CERTAIN, NONE OF THEM get to the top and stay there forever.

Just when one seems invincible, they start to get arrogant and make mistakes like forgetting what got them there.

Want a real world example?

Let's look at BMW.

As you know I'm a fan of the brand and have owned quite a few including a 2014 X1 X-Line currently.

But as sure as I sit here I see them making multiple mistakes and in my opinion are slipping.

What kind of mistakes?

Can you say 5GT, 3GT for a start?

Plus, add extremely lukewarm restyles of the X3 and X5 and NO GL competitor.

All the while companies like Land Rover are hitting grand slams with Evoque, Audi with A7/A8/R8, Mercedes with new S, CLA, GLA, GL, etc., etc. etc..

Now I'm disappointed with some of the moves I'm seeing with BMW but I don't hate them. I just think they can do MUCH better.

And don't get me started with Infiniti...

The funny thing is the recipe is so simple and never changes.

Make a gorgeous product LOADED with testosterone and you have a winner.

So why do so many auto companies see this unfold before their very eyes and not act accordingly?

Well, that's the question for the ages and our question today for all of you.

Which auto manufacturers, brands and vehicles to you hate MOST, right now and what would you tell their execs if you could???

Spies, discuss...

Lexus and Acura. Drive is not engaging and terrible designs.

I know this got modded down, but I have to agree with you on this. I was in a CT and HF that looked like they were the top trim of their Toyota equivalents. They felt uninspiring.

I had high hopes for Acura, but they too have been slipping as of late. The RL looked like it was an Accord with a different body kit, and they still do not have a V8 for their flagship (or even anything that would compete with others V8s).

Though they still have a ways to go, I give Hyundai and Kia credit for attempting to take on a higher segment. Even if they haven't gotten there, it's still raised their game a few notches.

The last one I would say is GM, they seemed to still have not recovered from the recession. The C7 is an amazing step, but there's still a long way there too.

VW for their lack of reliability and product arrogance as it relates to the NA market. Honda-Acura for their stupid styling. Subaru for insisting on using a Super Beetle engine that has NVH issues. Lincoln for being Mercury. Fiat for being an inept steward of Chrysler. GM for trying to prop up PSA that just needs to die.

Cadillac and Lincoln for promising world class cars every year only to fall flat, hoping Americans will go goo goo for touch screens and "concierge" services...Stop It

Why is Linclon is even around today? Ford should just cut the cord and move on.

"indept steward of Chrysler" and "PSA that just needs to die". I can blend those two statements into one - let Chrysler die and stop wasting capital from other companies (be it Daimler, or Fiat, or Cerberus, or the US Gov't.

Mitsubishi needs to GTFO. Fiat neutered the Viper and Chrysler can do better overall. I agree with Vorana Subaru is Toyota's punk. Buick's only around for the Chinese. Ford's playing it too safe with Lincoln.
