When it comes to car sounds, there's nothing quite like a Ford V8, Ferrari V12, Jaguar six-cylinder, Porsche flat six, and the list goes on. But, for me, it's really tough to beat the certain exquisite something that emits from the McLaren F1 and it's BMW-sourced V12 powerplant.

It sounds remarkable, particularly at speed.

And thankfully there still are some F1s running about. Not just on local streets, either. I am talking about on the track where it belongs. One particular example was recently filmed at the French Paul Ricard Circuit where it was seen having a "go" around the track.

The specific F1 GTR in question was the iconic César car that actually raced in the 1995 Le Mans race and after that was given a special "art car" treatment care of French artist, César.

Sorry, but almost any Ferrari sounds a lot better.

I would take the F1 in a sec over just about any car. But the AMG V12 inside the zonda especially the 6.0 800hp eng. in the Revolucion sounds better than any car I've ever heard.
