VW is going to get an incredible dose of bad PR for this.

This car doesn't say, "look at us, look at what we can do." Instead, it screams, (in German accent, if you wish) "WE CAN'T FIGURE OUT HOW TO PRODUCE FUEL-EFFICIENT CARS!"

Must be drinking the same Kool-aid as Cadillac with the ELR except VW has much more money than GM so they drank the pitcher of Kool-aid. that's how they came up with that totally reasonable sum of money. VW, the people's car! lol. The money you'll save on fuel won't add up to the amount of coin you're spending on this car. You'll drive it till you're 100 and still not save. When they're only making 200 cars though, they are making the buyer pay for all the costs associated with this POS. Hmm, VW or Bentley? Gee, I can't decide. lol

Oddly interesting. Obviously, not a car for the masses. An exercise in energy efficiency. Despite its price and oddball styling, I'm sure VW will sell all 200 units.
