LEAKED! Even MORE Photos Of The All-New BMW 2-Series Hit The 'Net Before Friday's BIG Unveil
It seems that the all-new BMW 2-Series will NOT get the BIG launch that the automaker must have been planning for. That's because as far as we can tell there's been something like three leaks of the car completely unclothed before Friday's reveal.

Is it that big of a deal at the end of the day? No.

BUT, we do want to share with you the BEST images we've seen so far. While another poster made us aware of the M235i's images that hit the web yesterday, now there's all-new pictures of the standard 2-Series.

This is pretty telling because although the M235i is expected to be a helluva product, we predict that more folks will find their way into the standard car. THINK: how many 128s do you see roaming around? They're everywhere in the New York tri-state region.

Pretty interesting to see the vehicle painted in a champagne color for launch. That's just as peculiar as when the 6-Series Gran Coupe first appeared in that matte brown shade.

Anyhow, take a look at the latest shots!

something very bland about the rear of the 2 series, could of at least had a more aggressive bumper/diffuser

I have NEVER understood the allure of the 1 Series now 2 Series. In dealers it is as pricey as a 3 Series, yet because it is a chopped down 3 Series it's cramped. Get the 3 Series which is both entertaining to drive AND much more hospitable.

If you think a 3er is more entertaining to drive, that tells me you never driven a 1 series.

I have a 135 loaner right now while my 335 is in the shop -- granted it's not a sport pkg 1 series and my 3 series is....but the 135 sucks.....it is fast (same engine as my 3) but my 3 handles way better....the 1 is a mess going around the same corners my 3 series loves...

I can tell you from my eperience of thousands of miles driving both, the light shorter, 1 er is a lot more fun to drive. The 135 is for legal driving is more fun the the M3, IMHO.

The DNA is particularly strong among the BMW line of cars. The only real difference between models essentially is the physical size of the model.
BMW needs more differentiation to avoid a 'rubber stamp' look.

People criticize Audi for making cars that look the same. Looks like BMW is perhaps even more guilt of this trend.

This 2-series looks just like a smaller 3-series, which itself looks like a smaller 5-series, which looks just like a smaller 7-series.

You are f-ing ridiculous. NO ONE is "more guilty" of that than your beloved mothership. It's not even close, there is no debate, the end. Though if it makes you feel better, based on upcoming models Mercedes seems intent on supplanting them. Now you'll have somewhere else to direct your paid misdirection and half truths.

BMWs are now just as guilty as Audi with the same sausage different lengths mantra...
