Fiat Still Unsure If Alfa Romeo Will Be Sold In Fiat Or Maserati Dealerships
Chrysler-Fiat CEO Sergio Marchionne acknowledges a conflict over whether Maserati or Fiat dealers will sell Alfa Romeos in the United States, but states his plan is to market Alfa Romeo also through the best performing Fiat dealers.

This new statement differs from one in late September by Harald Wester, the global head of Fiat’s Alfa Romeo and Maserati brands, who said Alfa Romeo 4C coupe, which is intended to lead Alfa Romeo’s return to the United States, would be sold through U.S. Maserati dealers when it arrives next year.

No brainer: Fiat or Chrysler dealers. Alfa is a mainstream brand and restricting sales by putting it in Maserati dealers is DUMB. Fiat dealers should have been envisioned at Fiat/Alfa Romeo/Maserati dealers. Does Marchionne NOT understand market penetration? Maserati needs to be in every market BMW is in. Alfa needs to be in every market Toyota is in!

These cars are going to be priced between $60-100k. Nobody visiting a Fiat dealership is looking to spend that kind of coin. Should be sold alongside Maserati's.
