Ford Hybrids Outsell Both GM And Toyota In October
Ford took over the No. 1 spot in plug-in hybrid sales of the Ford Fusion Energi and Ford C-MAX Energi in October, outpacing sales of the Chevrolet Volt and Toyota Prius plug-in hybrid.

Ford sold 2,179 Fusion Energi and C-MAX Energi vehicles last month, accounting for 34 percent of the total plug-in hybrid market. Toyota sold 2,095 units of its Prius plug-in hybrid, while GM sold 2,088 Chevrolet Volt units.

Definitely not defending either GM or Toyota, but Ford has been advertising, both TV and Radio, the hell out of the C-Max and Fusion for the last few months.

A bit misleading. Real title actually goes like this. "Ford Tops Both Toyota and GM in Plug-in Hybrid Sales".
Note the Plug-in missing. Without it, I'm pretty sure Toyota hybrids mop the floor with Ford and wipe their ass with GM.
