Yesterday it was a Scirocco R reviewed by the Motor Trend, and now the 2015 Volkswagen GTI. What is it with VW, showing us forbidden fruit all the time?

Consumer Reports let one of their more usual unusual editors test the next generation Golf GTI, and that's because Gabe Shenhar owned two GTI and loves them. I have come to the conclusion this site pays you based on how ridiculously, nonsensically, over the top inflammatory your headlines are.

If you classify AutoSpies.com in the same category as Top Gear, i.e. for entertainment purposes only, the Agents are doing a marvelous job. :)

The GTI is priced like the BMW Mini and is 100% a better drive. The torque steer in the Mini is rather alarming on anything less than glass-smooth roads. The GTI and the Jetta GLI are what the BMW 1 and 2 Series need to be, but BMW lack the expertise to do FWD right. The GTI is a great drive and if it came with Toyota or Hyundai level of quality, reliability, and durability, it would be the one to beat.

I wonder how it is that VW gets rid of the torque steer, that is a downside of the MINI S unfortunately for me too../
