SPIED: BMW's Next-Gen M4 Coupe Gets Seen In Sakhir Orange For The FIRST Time — Is It KILLER Or What?

One of the joys of buying an M car are the exclusive paint colors. Over the years there have been a bunch.

Some of the favorites are Imola Red, Dakar Yellow, Estoril Blue but none come close to Techno Violet, in my humble opinion.

If you were to ask me what NEW M color will likely hold a legendary status, I'd have to say the new Sakhir Orange that can be found on the M5, M6 and soon-to-be M3/M4 is pretty spectacular. That's because it is this tasteful shade of orange that appears red in some light and a burnt orange in others.

While the prototype M4s have been spotted in mostly black, white and silver, just this week shots emerged of the car in Sakhir and it looks absolutely killer. It doesn't come as much of a surprise given how good the M5 and M6 look in the orange hue.

This color is just a bit off, much like the styling. Not bad, but doesn't find me reaching for my checkbook either.

Really?

Out of curiosity, what has you enamored these days?

As we move towards more isolated vehicles it'll be tough to find a "pure" vehicle that delights the senses. And, design, well automakers are still trying to fight safety regs.

I actually think this new M3/M4 has potential to be one of the best now that it will be using a six-cylinder motor. Not to mention the 4-Series styling is KILLER in person.

I like the Ghibli, Tesla, and Jaguar XF. Pretty short list unfortunately.

Why do you Agents try and force this new M4 down our throats? It's a nice car. Nothing spectacular. The regular 4 series is nice but not as stunning as you try and make it seem. BMW's are not the be all end all in auto. Nor does BMW have the upper hand that they once had over it's competition. I'm sure the upcoming ats-v and c63 will be great as well. The M4 is simply an option in a very competative seg.
