Subaru Teases WRX Ahead Of LA Motor
The Subaru WRX will be unveiled at the LA motor show later this month. The new model is expected to follow the saloon-like lines of the WRX Concept from the New York motor show earlier this year.

Subaru describes the WRX as “Subaru's iconic AWD performance model”, as the firm attempts to reassert itself as a performance brand.

I'm looking forward to this thing, if only because it might help tuners figure out what to do with the ECU and so forth in order to get more power out of my Forester XT which has the same engine. But I do expect it to be a pretty great car and I look forward to seeing them on the roads. Too bad it's not quite the epic vehicle that the concept was; that thing was amazing.

Yeah, the biggest disappointment is that it is a 4-door sedan (only). It seems like a bone-head move since it seems most current WRXs sold are 5-doors.

I hope they get the tranny selection right - manual only.
