STUD or DUD: Does The 2015 Subaru Impreza WRX Just Look Like A Beefier Honda Civic?
So far this week it seems that the BIG news is the all-new 2015 Subaru WRX. Though the vehicle typically is produced in relatively small numbers and the wait list can be anywhere from a quarter to six months — believe you me, there's not much transparency there as a dear friend was left in the dark for MONTHS — it is the brand's "hot" product.

If there is one vehicle that injects youth into the brand its the WRX. Sure, if you can locate a BRZ that is another option but given the practicality the WRX provides, it tends to be the more popular pick.

Though no official details pertaining to the motor or price have been released, it's nice to see the images make their way onto the 'net. And now that we've moved away from the simply teaser shot and into these two purported pictures of the car from the front 3/4 and rear 3/4, we've got a good idea at how it will look — assuming they're real.

That said, in a conversation with Agent 001 today, he noted that IF this is the 2015 WRX, and it looks like it, the exterior design is a bit Civic-like. That's not necessarily a BAD thing as the Civic is the class leader in terms of sales, but it is a bit more staid and a lot less aggressive as the sexy concept that bowed at the 2013 New York Auto Show.

So, we want to know:

Is the 2015 Subaru WRX a STUD or a DUD?

The front is alright, if anything it's underwhelming, but the rest is so derivative and uninspiring that it's an insult. For a 2015MY this is just not a good job at all.

Subaru needs a new design language. They simply can not build attractive vehicles. Amazingly consistent boredom,- atop teenage street-fighter whimsy.
