2014 Mercedes C-Class Spied in two versions

2014 Mercedes C-Class Spied in two versions
The latest crop of 2014 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Prototype spy photos have made their way to the web, this time showing minimal camo.

We last saw the C-Class prototype when Mercedes-Benz released official photos of the cabin – pair those with the latest spy photos and you’re able to get a pretty good idea of what we can expect from the car being dubbed the mini S-Class. High honors being that the S-Class is being called the best car in the world.
There are two prototypes seen in the photos, both featuring different alloy wheels and rear bumpers, and one with a chromed window line.

The 2014 C-Class will likely have a 2850mm wheelbase and will be roughly 176 lbs lighter than the outgoing model. Under the hood, buyers will have the option of several four-, six- and eight-cylinder engines, with a twin-turbo V8 4.0-liter engine outputting around 500 HP (367 kW) at the top.

Wow! Very nice this is going to be a really big seller for Benz as it has always been and they are going to really sell a lot of them because of it's S-class styling cues and outstanding Benz techno built into it.

Yup, looks good and I think the interior, if done with the right materials, will garner a lot of attention. Even the tacked-on info screen looks decent and the more I see it (and realize that Mercedes is adding to many other models), the better it looks. I'm still not sold on the lack of a floor gear lever, though.

Looks nice, but MB seems to be heading back in the direction of one sausage different lengths, after a bit of a hiatus. The last S class looked very unique versus the MB lineup, and the E Class used to have the distinct 4 headlights. Now we're seeing a C class that truly is a shrunken S class from every angle, and I think it's safe to say the next E will slot right in between, given the most recent refresh eliminated the 4 headlamp design. The new S happens to be great looking, so not complaining about the new strategy.

They are starting to appear in the streets of NYC. This car will be a common and nice sight for the next 5 to 10 years

Sorry, I was talking about the new S class. Totally mixed up the two cars.
