LA AUTO SHOW: Subaru Celebrates 25 Years By Announcing Stunning Legacy Concept
Subaru of America, Inc. announced today it will debut the Subaru LEGACY CONCEPT at the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show. The new LEGACY CONCEPT celebrates the 25th anniversary of the Subaru Legacy and provides a look at the styling cues for future Legacy models.
Adorned with a custom Ocean Silver Metallic paint scheme, the LEGACY CONCEPT features a more coupe-like silhouette. The LEGACY CONCEPT is a modern interpretation of the Legacy and features a more distinguished front design with a new hexagonal grille and a sharper hawk-eye headlamp design.
Flared wheel arches cover 21-inch wheels and hint at the standard Subaru Symmetrical all-wheel drive drivetrain. A pronounced character line flows into the short rear deck and ends in the rear tail lamps. The tail lamps echo the hawk-eye headlamp design and enhance the solidity of the overall design.

After the letdown seeing the "real" new WRX pictures compared to the concept they released earlier this year, I won't take the bait on this.
Note to Subaru, if you're going to do concept cars, if you do a production version, have it at least look a little bit like the concept.

Subaru does a hot concept and then follows with horrific styling in the real product. Subaru is lucky that those who buy them are completely blind to the deficits each Subaru has relative to the competition.

If their production cars looked like their concepts, they would be in super high demand. This one looks great. I mean, the front is basically a new Ford Taurus, but the rear end is sweet. Like the design language as continued from the WRS concept.
Curious to see just how much uglier the real next-gen model will be, ha!

This is actually a pretty tame concept, in terms of styling, which makes me think this is 98% production ready.
It looks to be quite large actually, which surprises me the most.
Is Subaru actually planning to go mainstream and compete against the Accord/Camry/Sonata's of the world?
