Chevrolet Recalling 44,000 2014 Malibus For Faulty Ventilation Controls
General Motors is recalling more than 44,000 Chevy Malibu midsize cars because the window defrosters may not work.

The recall affects cars from the 2014 model year.

GM says a computer that controls the ventilation system can revert to the previous setting even if a driver sets the controls to defrost. If that happens, the driver won't be able to clear the windshield to see where they're going. The problem happens when the cars are started.

I wouldn't call it terrible. At least the newest model has decent looks.

Drive one then drive a Fusion, Accord, Camry, Altima, or Passat and the gulf between the Malibu and the competition is massive.
