CAR WARS! 2014 Audi R8 vs. Porsche 911 (991) vs. Jaguar XKR — WHICH Everyday Sports Car Takes The Crown?

Ever since the launch of the Audi R8, there's been an ongoing battle going on between it and the all-new Porsche 911 (991). The reality is that a buyer really can't go wrong with either purchase it just comes down to one's personal taste.

Do you want something more new-age and modern, OR do you want a conservative piece of styling that's been improved upon for 30 years? That's the decision one must make.

In this showdown though, a publication from abroad brought together what it calls "everyday supercars" — arguably, a stretch — to see which was the best from a more quantitative, economic perspective. Frankly, the Jaguar never had a shot but since this is a British pub, they needed some sort of representation — why not an Aston Martin V8 Vantage S?

Amazing how many auto journalists there are. Most of them should go find a real job so maybe they can afford one of these used "supercars" some day.
