Honda Showing Several New Turbo engines and dual clutch transmissions
Honda Motor Co. unveiled a series of downsized, turbocharged engines and an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, rounding out its line of Earth Dreams powertrains with ones that offer more performance without sacrificing fuel economy.


A 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that puts out more than 280 hp.
A 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine.
A 1.0-liter three-cylinder engine.

Honda's 2 liter turbo developing 280+ HP will be a screamer in a Civic or Accord coupe!
With the aggressive S.Koreans chomping at their feet, Honda had better start producing more dynamic and exciting cars.

280hp on a 2.0 is amazing, too bad mercedes has the 2.0 with over 350hp on the cla45...

Hilarious. So Honda is finally using technology that VW had a decade ago (TSI) that Ford stole the idea from (Ecoboost) to pretend that EarthDreams is actually something special. And even if this engine technology is amazing it will still go into some of the ugliest cars on the road.
