The 2015 Ford Mustang Imagined, Like A Bag Of Skittles

While the 2015 Ford Mustang made its big debut yesterday, with FIRST details revealed at midnight followed by a day-time "coming out" party, it hasn't exactly been seen in a bevy of colors.

So far I've seen a bunch of red cars and a dark gray. It doesn't exactly make your imagination wander, does it?

That said, we've done a bit of investigating and if you go to Ford's retail site, you'll note that there's an all-new section dedicated to the 2015 Mustang, which debuts in "late 2014." If you scroll down you'll come across a mini configurator where you can play with color options and several wheel options.

Although it isn't perfect, it definitely gives you a vague idea of what the next-gen 'Stang will look like sporting different wheel/tire combinations as well as different paints.

I don't get why it has to have that ugly trout mouth. The "backward C" (a Mustang cue) is missing from aft the doors and it has that stupid Taurus crease that drew fire when it debuted on the Taurus. Black hides the sins, certainly, but...

From the side view It looks like they took some styling from the Infinity G37 Coupe.

I wouldn't say G37 but there's a lot of luxury GT flair in that fastback greenhouse.

Not a bad thing.

Problem is it doesn't match up with the rest of the vehicle, IMHO.
