Lexus Teases A New F Model Coupe, But Would It Ever Cause You To STRAY From Your M4?

A new Lexus F model has been previewed ahead of its debut at the Detroit motor show in January.

Although Lexus says the model is "not neccessarily" related to the RC coupé shown in Tokyo earlier this year, it has been suggested this new concept will be an F-badged version of the car.

The RC coupé was shown at the Tokyo motor show in two forms, with the RC300h hybrid, which mates an electric motor with a 2.5-litre engine, taking centre stage. The RC350, powered by a 3.5-litre V6 engine, was also shown.

I had an is-f for about a year and a half after having an M3 and 335xi.
the is-f is amazing in a straight line, but the feel and handling sucked compared to both bmw's.
id probably never go back to an is-f unless they improve the handling and eliminate the auto transmission and bring in a dual clutch and make it sound like the LFA..
otherwise M4, rs5, c63, and cts-v all over the is-f in no specific order... just feel they are all better.

Unfortunately if you own the current BMW then you know, its handling sucks compared to previous generationS. Therefore I'm guessing these 2 are comparable, except I like the BMW styling better this time.

@dlin, then just get the adaptive suspension option. There is a huge amount of "luxury" car buyers that do not want sporty. So, BMW gives you the options for an adaptive suspension for those who desire more aggressive handling. The other 95% of the market does not take an off ramp at double the speed limit.

2ndbimmer: it's not the suspension, it's the electrica steering that sucks the most. Drive a E46 and you'll know.

M-4 is much smaller. Wrong comparison.If it drives like the new IS350 with 150 more hp it will be a german killer......
