I think I just heard the Germans yawn, or maybe that's laughter.

This will be more of a joke than Toyota's TRD.

009's glorification of the Korean cars just make me laugh. You really remind me of all those Communist regimes, thinking that if they repeat those propagandas long enough and with regular frequency, people will actually buy it. I'm not saying they can't get there, I'm just saying you should wait until they get to that point.

Curses you foiled me again. How did you know I am am a covert communist?

Seriously to discount the Koreans is silly. Look what happened when Lexus broke into the market. The Germans rightfully said this is no where near the quality. however they wrongfully underestimated the power of cheap pricing. Offer 70% of the car at 50% the price and you have takers.

That bought Lexus time to create their own sales base and now in many ways they are quite good. Still not up the the performance standards, but their customers never cared about that. Price was key factor.

Yes, exaggerated headline. At least for the next several years.
A menace to other makes maybe.

Looks more like an ad for cheap South Korean plastic surgery. Cookie cutter white features.

009 - who says the Germans are discounting the Korean car mfrs? Why do you think they are moving down into the affordable car segment? I doubt it's just for average fuel economy compliance, maybe it's to tackle the brand loyalty lesson they learned from loyal Japanese car buyers moving into Infiniti and Lexus. My point is that anything and everything the Korean car mfrs bring out, you say should the German be scared. Let's face facts, all car mfrs are running scared of the other all the time. That's why we're getting better designed/featured/built cars now. So just stop it with the hyperbole, unless the object is to get eyeballs and hits, in which case, congratulations on meeting your underlying objectives.

My friend. Your desperate attempt to discredit the Koreans only shows that the Koreans have come a long way now. lol!

My friend? Whatever. Read my posts again and show me where I "discredit" the Koreans. Now if you were to tell me that I don't put them on a pedestal 3/5/10 years before they get there, then call me guilty. Seriously, the performance division? At least Honda had their F1 success with Ayrton Senna, GM and Ford with NASCAR, Peugeot with WRC, Germans & Italian mfrs with Le Mans and F1, but what circuit have the Koreans won big?

The automotive bigots will sneer because they are anti-Asian snobs, but Hyundai will deliver and will do so with far better reliability than the dealer queen Germans.

The Genesis coupe gives far more performance for the dollar than any Porsche, BMW, Mercedes, or Audi. So do the Mustang, Camaro, Challenger, BRZ, FRS, 370Z, Stingray... The Germans are NOT that amazing.

MD, what's with you and your anti-German sentiment? A go-cart with the right equipment can outperform any of the cars you mentioned. The reality is that the appeal of the Germans goes beyond just acceleration, skidpad, slalom, or track numbers. Sure, you can go out and buy a suit from Men's Wearhouse and forgo the Hugo Boss. It may LOOK similar, but it certainly won't FEEL similar. Then again, I suspect that you've never had the chance to experience a German car so you'd have no idea.

Haha, but nobody will brag they are sitting in a Korean car. You can sit in a Porsche and pick up women. You make deliveries in a Hyundai.
A Mustang\Camaro\Challenger\Z have heritage behind them, a Hyundai has recycled German\Japanese\American heritage it.

The day my Korean friends buy a Korean car is the day I give them a drop of respect.

And anyone who thinks people are scared of the Koreans, give you heads a shake.

If it wasn't for the Germans\Japanese and Americans, the Korean country and economy and people wouldn't even exist.

Excuse me if I'm upset that the Korean country is profiting from the theft of other people's ideas. Enjoy it while it lasts, the Chinaman is already starting to eat Korea alive. Why buy a counterfeit Samsung phone for $200 when the Chinese will sell me one for $60? Then we'll nuke them when they forget who made them.
