Mitsubishi To Kill Off Evo Name

Mitsubishi To Kill Off Evo Name
Well, first the good news. Mitsubishi will indeed launch an all-new Lancer model in the near future as well as a high-performance Evo model. Considering some recent rumors that the Evo may not come back at all, we’re thrilled to know that Mitsubishi still has some high-performance fun in its blood. The Koreans must have put Mitsubishi on notice and scared the "EVO" right out of Mitsubishi. Too bad, it was a good name.

I wouldn't be surprised if Hyundai/KIA copyrighted the EVO name after Mitsubishi lets it go then tries to pass their cars off as real Evo's with the rally racing heritage etc.

Considering the Koreans (in this case Samsung) even tries to patent other people's existing patents.

Mitsubishi killed the Eclipse and now the Evo. That would be like Chevy killing the Camaro and Corvette. Mitsubishi is clearly run by idiots. So basically Mitsubishi is going to be badge engineered Samsungs which are badge engineered Renaults. Renault has been bad for Nissan and I predict WORSE for Mitsubishi.

But first they ruined the eclipse when they made the eclipse fat for the third gen, fatter for the fourth gen then killed it. The eclipse was once an awesome car,
