EXCLUSIVE: Which Lexus LS model will sell the most?

I would get a longwheelbase. Since the Lexus is softer in the suspension department. The car would be bought more for a luxury ride rather than a sportive drive, hence I LWB would suit my needs better.

I believe that the long wheel base will definitely sell better, particularly in the U.S. where bigger/longer means more luxurious. Furthermore, I don't think Lexus customers are as concerned with speed and handling as are BMW, Audi, some MB customers. Lexus customers prefer luxury first, then styling, reliability, and good performance (great performance not required). Thus, Long equals luxury.

Prediction: LWB will be 4x that of SWB

I think what Agent001 meant by the long wheelbase version will do better than they are projecting means that the long wheelbase will do better than expected, not necessarily better than the short wheel version, just better than what they were thinking.

i would buy the long wheelbase too, pending on the price :D

i think what lexus thinks is that most long wheel base models with come with the 4 seater arrangement, which is absolutely useless unless your the prime minister or such and such. A normal family would not buy that!

xero, yes i know..but at least 50% of those LWB will ahve that arrangement...and because people dont need it, they wont sell as much, or wont have any available

People will buy the SWB version, one, because it's cheaper, and two, as long as they aren't the ones being driven or it will be used as a livery vehicle, who cares how comforable your rear seat passengers are on the 20 min run to the country club?
