Mulally has been mostly good for Ford. He has revitalized Ford while Lincoln is in terrible condition. They need someone who is as fiscally minded as Mulally, but they need a car guy to revitalize Lincoln. Cutting a platform sharing deal with Hyundai could be good for Lincoln because between the Mustang and the Genesis both brands (Lincoln and Genesis) could prosper. Maybe it's time for Ford and Tata to merge. Kill Lincoln and market JLR.
