UK Officials Lose Their Mind And Ban MINI Ad For Encouraging Dangerous Driving

The advert was displayed on a 96-sheet billboard on the A532 and featured blurred red and white lines trailing behind the Mini along with text reading: ‘The A532. It’s miles more fun in a Mini’.

A complaint to The Advertising Standards Authority questioned whether or not the advert, created by Iris Worldwide, could be harmful because it could be seen to encourage dangerous driving.

The ASA found that the large number of lines in different colours would give the impression of a fast moving vehicle and excessive speed.

You guys have no clue the level of Orwellian Madness happening in the UK.

This is a country in which a Pregnant Italian Visitor had her baby forcibly removed by C-Section and put up for adoption in the UK.

You would imagine this was some Black Market, Organised Crime syndicate in operation but no, this was Judge Approved, Public Bodies stealing babies, this has caused serious tensions with the italian government and hopefully put an end to this frightening but regular occurrence.

This is why you can not trust anything European. I mean, even look at their cars. Damn unreliable, and they are all just about image, and nothing more.

Glad I am an American.

Sorry Mate, have to disagree with you there.

After seeing the Escalade, Surburban, Tahoe. Expedition, Navigator malarkey in the USA not to mention all the manufacturers selling slightly restyled models under a different brand so as to "Diffrentiate" the models, ill have to say the European Manufacturers actually make a better product.

For Example: Go look in the engine bay of a 5yr old Audi A3 or BMW 5 series, now go look in the Engine bay of a Malibu or CTS.

I promise you you will not find one rusting piece of metal in the entire Bay in the German vehicles, can't say the same for the Yankmobiles. Please don't argue, just go look, i did.
