WTF? BMW To Offer A 760Li M Bi-Turbo For The Middle East Market
A former colleague I used to work with called this type of thing a "Marketing department move." Well, I can't see how it can be perceived as anything different.

According to reports from the Middle East a BMW 760Li has debuted at an expo dubbed "You are the Queen" showing a standard 760Li with the M Sport body kit. The motor remains the same as the standard car. The M Sport kit can be optioned on the standard car.

So, what do you get?

A bunch of M specific colors, some M badges and "V12" stitching in the headrests. That's it. It is not an M car or even an M Performance car.

What ever happened to modesty?

Read more below about it, because that's all I've got.

A Special Edition BMW 760Li V12 M Bi-Turbo was recently revealed for the Middle Eastern market and it's the first 7 Series to wear M badges on its exterior. But, this is not an actual M Car.

It's powered by the standard 760Li 6.0L twin turbo V12 engine (537 HP, 0-62mph in 4.6 sec). On the exterior, it wears the M Sport aero package and comes with a choice of 19" and 20" M Sport double-spoke wheels. Eight BMW M exterior colors are available, including Monte Carlo Blue, Silverstone II, Imola Red, and more. A dark chrome "V12 M Bi-Turbo" and M badge are engraved on the rear trunk trim, door sills and door handles. Shadowline/black chrome replace the standard M Sport chrome bits.

The interior features full Nappa leather in Oyster color with contrast stitching in orange, blue, red or black, as well as Individual Piano Black trim. The seat headrests features V12 lettering and interior controllers, knobs and more have a ceramic finish.

This limited edition 7 Series debuted this past week at an expo named "You are the Queen" in Saudi Arabia. Commenting the BMW 760Li V12 M Bi-Turbo's presence at the show, Toni Yazbeck, Head of Marketing, Mohamed Yousuf Naghi Motors, said: “High-end fashion is about design perfection – an ethos that mirrors BMW. It is therefore fitting that we choose the ‘You are the Queen Expo’ as a platform to introduce the exclusive BMW 760Li V12 M Bi-Turbo, a vehicle that is a byword for luxury, elegance and innovation.”

The BMW 760Li V12 M Bi-Turbo is available exclusively from Mohamed Yousef Naghi Motors in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

It's a regional car so US competition doesn't matter.

Even if that was the case, why not build a proper M7 and get it over with. I understand it would probably be silly now but it should be done with next-gen car.

BMW will certainly build a M7 for money's sake in the future, but to me it won't be a M. Hell, they'll build you a Q or whatever if you throw in enough money.

Th S63 and S65 are HUGE in the middle east, the equivalent to the S550 in the US.

Bimmer should of hopped on this with the previous gen.

"WTF? BMW To Offer A 760Li M Bi-Turbo For The Middle East Market"

Well they only have been offering a bi turbo V12 with a M-sport package in the U.S. since 2009 Model year. This is just a cosmetic kit for the Middle East.
