Awesome and congrats Ford! Toyotas are so over rated and have had so many recalls and problems lately not to mention their designs (Camry, Corolla, trucks) are so dated, ugly and have gone down the toilet with the exception of a few models I not the least bit surprised Ford is beating Toyota.

Well, I think this is proof that if you want to increase sales, you have to put out a better product. Chrysler could learn something here. The 200 will never be a contender as long as it is outdated and bested by every car in class.

Toyota stinks now. Ford is the best domestic brand in terms of reliability and quality. In fact, I would even say it's better than some Toyota's.

My father owned a Ford for 8 years and most of the stops at the shop were for regular maintenance, if not fairly minor issues. Whereas Toyota/Lexus vehicles have given him transmission and interior bits coming loose after 2-3 years, which shouldn't happen.

Ford reliability, LOL
CR latest has Ford near the bottom in many vehicle categories. Other than pickup owners who are die-hart loyalists, most owners should regret their purchases. Fusion and Mustang may be the only worth while vehicles from Ford.

Ward's Auto article much better and makes it clear its F-series that is the big seller. Fusion and hybrids are far smaller impact, C-Max dropped big at end end. Also built a lot of inventory at dealers.

Ford announced that they're showcasing a C-Max with solar panels to recharge the battery. Not a first but every car company that fields a hybrid needs to do that. Park your car for the day at work, recharge enough to get home without using gas.
